About Me

In 2010 I graduated from the University of Arizona with a BFA in Theatre Production with an emphasis in Scenic Design and Properties. I was employed by the Arizona Repertory Theatre (in association with the U of A) for three years, the first of which I spent as a scenic painter, and the last two working in the properties shop as both artisan, properties master and later as the prop shop manager in my senior year. Also, in my senior year, I had the opportunity to be Scenic Designer for The Diary of Anne Frank as my senior thesis. It was an honor to work alongside distinguished actor, director and, at the time professor, Harold Dixon. I will forever be molded my experiences on this show as a designer and as a person, and continue to be proud of the production for our commitment to realism and respect for the individuals on which it is based.

After college I began working on commissioned upholstery projects as well as dabbling in film! I had always been curious about how my skills might transfer into the world of cinema so when the opportunity presented itself I jumped. I was the Production Designer for two local student thesis films, True Love's Kiss directed by Jesse Klein and Writing Crime directed by Chris MacDonald; the later of which also earned me a producing credit for being integrally apart of the location scouting and vision of the short. These experiences then led to my work on a music video for local artist, Andrew Colberg, titled Hard to Hurt as both the Costume Designer and Weapons Wrangler and also a graduate level film at Chapman University in Los Angles as their Art Director and Properties Master. This was the largest film I have worked on thus far, filming in the Salton Sea as well as on a professionally equipped soundstage located on the Chapman campus.

In the winter of 2012-13, with a thirst for adventure, I headed to New York City to work as technician decorating the city for the holidays. I spent nine weeks there working in some of the most iconic buildings and parks in the city, including Macy's and The Chrysler Building. This was was fantastic way to explore all NY has to offer.

I continue to be passionate about working in both film and theatre and am continually impressed by how my experiences in each medium can benefit the other.

I am currently employed as the Assistant Properties Master at Arizona Theatre Company in Tucson, Arizona; Arizona's only state regional theatre. We produce 6 shows a year from August to May and pride ourselves in bringing high quality theatre to the Tucson and Phoenix communities. As assistant I help with all prop builds and upholstery needs as well as overseeing all of our Phoenix transfers.

For the past 3 summers I have have the amazing pleasure of working in Shepherdstown, WV at the Contemporary American Theater Festival (CATF). This inspiring new american play festival seeks out the best and the brightest of American playwrights and fosters an amazing and collaborative atmosphere to bring thought provoking important stories to the stage. I strongly believe in the work that is done here and the undying effort to educate the new generation of theater goers through the immersive youth program, Hostel Youth. I also hold the position of  Assistant Properties Master  with this incredible company and hope to return for as many summers as possible. The summer challenges of doing 5 full productions in repertory creates an endless opportunity to learn, create and innovate within the world of props.

I love what I do, both in Arizona and West Virginia and cant wait to see where else my career may take me in the years to come!
