All Souls Procession- 2016
A Tucson Tradition for Day of the Dead. While I do want to show off some of my make up skill I also want to be clear this is not a costume. I have participated in the All Souls parade for the last two years and I walk alongside friends and family with the deepest respect for this tradition an as a way of bonding with my downtown community while remembering those who have gone before us.
Hair & Make Up- The Resistance 2013
Costumes, Hair & Make-up- Writing Crime 2012/13
While filming on location in Bisbee, AZ for Writing Crime another situation arose where I stepped in again for Costume, Hair & Make-up Designer, Meagan Mongrid. We also had a new and wonderful actress joining us, Sarah Brauer, that I did the costume design for in the this bank scene.
To the left are two of our extras that I also
helped create period looks for. I am especially
proud of Sarah Cretcher's hair (in front).
For the filming in the bar, I again helped the Costume Designer with the extras' clothes, and hair. And yes I even got to join in the fun (me below right)!

Costume Design- Hard To Hurt 2012
I was the Costume Designer for Andrew Colberg's music video, "Hard to Hurt".
These were our six fictional characters/ ghosts that all come to there tragic ends while staying in this real life haunted bed & breakfast in Bisbee, AZ known as the Oliver House. Each character belonged there own moment in time which made for a visually interesting piece that was quite fun to create. From the top: 1960's Man, Buffalo Soldier, The Inn Keeper (present day), 1940's Tux Man, 1980's Punk Rock Guy & Girl.

Costume Design- True Love's Kiss 2010/11
True Love's Kiss was a massive undertaking especially for my first film. In addition to the Production Design (set, paint & props) I also headed up the Costume Design. It was a ton of work but I did love having total control of the films look and I think the end project has a very cohesive style. I will also stress here, the director's desire for the film to reflect the community theater charm that fill the pages of this romantic comedy script.
Most of the costumes were borrowed or rented but I made most of the accessories (capes, shoes, head gear etc.) However, I did make the the Prince's tunic from scratch.
The Prince (progress--> finished)
The Princess (progress--> finished)
The Squire (progress--> finished)
Other Finished Characters/ Extras
Shoes!
Swiss Dot Skirt- Classwork 2007
(First costume build- terrible picture but I wore it throughout the rest of college.)
The Who's Tommy- 2007 Child Wrangling
I tucked this little nugget of experience under costumes because it was of uptmost importance that I keep these two high energy kids in their white suits clean from top of show to bows!
Alexandra & James Cockrell stole the show!
